Hi Cathy, thanks for that! I'm editing a new occassional art journal called VERGE that will be launched in February. There is an article in it that I commissioned from two architects in Paris creating radical environmental projects in urban settings - if you send me a postal address for you, I'll send you a copy when the time comes. I think you'll find it very interesting.
I'm not great a starting groups - well, I'm not very consistent about my input, so I might not be the best person to do that, but I'd join it if it was going. Maybe I'll get up the courage to do it soon though. . . . .! If I'm coming your way I will le you know - best Fiona
really impressed with your essay, there was a lot of mention at `Culture |futures by leading world acclaimed architects that it won't be long that 75% of world pop. will be in cities!! but there were some very positive imaginings about this area.
Fiona, I'm not too far away, work in Kilkenny, so if you ever want to meet up for a coffee, let me know.
Also, I have come across a few people writing great material about culture in an ecological age, would you consider creating a 'group' on this site about cultural theory? I hope to do more work in this area in the future but not doing so at the moment and I think it would be good to highlight it across the network
