Comment by patrick jones on December 21, 2009 at 10:25: inspiring trailer cathy, great to see. both bikes and swales are at the top of my 'what gets me excited' list. water and transport and food i guess are the essential issues we need to address right now. in oz transport and food equate to over 60% of greenhouse gas emissions. i'm sure it's a similar thing in ireland. you may have seen this vid, but if you havent yr in for a treat - solutions! solutions! solutions!

glad to see you and your bike here! We had an amazing lecture at Culture|Futures by Jan Gehl, all about bringing bike cultures into cities, over 300 k of bike lanes in NYC in the last year see him in this doc
